Long-Time EMS Leader Brian Ranger Joins The Karras Group

MOUNT PLEASANT MI | September 13, 2024 – The Karras Group (TKG) is pleased to announce beginning today, long-time EMS leader Brian Ranger has joined TKG as a senior associate – EMS specialist representing the company and assisting clients in Tennessee and surrounding states.

Jim Karras, principal of TKG, said, “We are fortunate to have Brian join us here at TKG.  I’ve known and worked with Brian for more than 30 years and he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will serve our clients and our team as we expand our services beyond southern California”.

Mr. Ranger said, “I’ve known and worked with Jim, Ed, and Sabrina in other settings and each of them bring unique skills to the table.  I’m excited to work with such an energized team that cares so much about the delivery of quality patient care and the clients TKG serves.  I look forward to continuing to be of service in an industry I’ve enjoyed for more than 50 years.

EMS Veteran Risk Management expert Ed Brown Joins The Karras Group.

ORANGE CA | August 9, 2024 – The Karras Group (TKG) is pleased to announce beginning today, long-time EMS and Risk Management expert Edward J. Brown has joined TKG and will serve as a Safety and Risk Management Specialist heading up the firm’s expansion of offering safety and risk and management consulting services.

Jim Karras, principal of TKG, said, “I’ve known and worked with Ed for more than 30 years and we are pleased to have Ed join us here at TKG during these exciting times for us.”  Jim continued.  “With Ed’s extensive background in safety and risk management, Ed will assist our clients with these additional service offerings as TKG continues to broaden the range of expertise we offer those we serve.”

Southern California Ambulance Association Appoints Jim Karras, Principal of The Karras Group to serve as its first Executive Director in more than 30 years.

PLACENTIA CA | June 18, 2024 – The Karras Group (TKG) is pleased to announce that the Southern California Ambulance Association (SCAA) has awarded an agreement to TKG for association management, executive director, and web and technology services.

The Principal of TKG, Jim Karras, explained, “we are honored to expand the role in which we serve the association.  Under this new arrangement, we will supplement the current web and technology services we’ve provided to the association for more than 22 years.”  

Jim further commented, “The additional services include association management duties, such as the association’s executive director.  I will directly serve as the association’s executive director, a position last held in the early 1990s by Don Moe, an Orange County-based business executive who served in the role for the Ambulance Association in Orange County, a predecessor trade association that merged with SCAA in 2023.”
