Southern California Ambulance Association Appoints Jim Karras, Principal of The Karras Group to serve as its first Executive Director in more than 30 years.

PLACENTIA CA | June 18, 2024 – The Karras Group (TKG) is pleased to announce that the Southern California Ambulance Association (SCAA) has awarded an agreement to TKG for association management, executive director, and web and technology services.

The Principal of TKG, Jim Karras, explained, “we are honored to expand the role in which we serve the association.  Under this new arrangement, we will supplement the current web and technology services we’ve provided to the association for more than 22 years.”  

Jim further commented, “The additional services include association management duties, such as the association’s executive director.  I will directly serve as the association’s executive director, a position last held in the early 1990s by Don Moe, an Orange County-based business executive who served in the role for the Ambulance Association in Orange County, a predecessor trade association that merged with SCAA in 2023.”
